Zafir Williams is the Junior Forward currently dominating the Funkhouse paint! Williams is a three year varsity player who's skill set has grown tremendously since his 9th grade year. In his first year of high school Williams was immediately thrown into fire jumping straight to the varsity squad. Although he didn't get much time his freshmen year he got varsity level experience, and was able to acclimate himself to the game to prepare himself for years to come. His Sophomore year his time on the floor increased along with his productivity averaging just under 12pts, and 8rebs, and recording 21 total blocks, a monster 205 total rebounds, while shooting 54% on the season. Coming off an injury in the current season Williams is showing just how dominate he can be averaging 21pts, and 10rebs in his first 2 games. In fact just two days ago in their 3rd league game Williams recorded a whooping 28pts, and 13rebs against the Tarbabes! Just BEASTING down low! Currently he is being recruited by Pepperdine, Montana, Santa Clara, and Weber State, and he still has one more year! This kid has tremendous upside, and with some improvement on his perimeter game, and ball handling by the end of his senior year he will have tons of colleges busting down his door.
