White OVO 12s Coming This Summer

With 2 days until his highly anticipated album "Views From The 6" drops, and the recent uproar of news of a Drake and Future "Summer Sixteen" tour Drake has decided to drop another bombshell on us revealing that the white colorway of the OVO 12s will drop some time this summer! With the beautiful off white upper, gold accents, and gold sparkling "OVO" stamp on the sole you can expect the same hype the black pair received if not more depending on total inventory. Drake is seriously on a mission, and at this point we don't see what more this man could possibly do, but we sure can tell you one thing Drizzy is playing no games, and is prepared to stay on top all summer sixteen, and for many summers to come! Custom Dragonball Z Vans By Nicolo

LA artist Dominic Edwards aka "Nicolo" deserves much more credit than he gets, and his latest work proves that. Yesterday Nicolo dropped a custom pair of Vans that every anime fan would die for. Using the popular anime series Dragon Ball Z as his muse he incorporated 10 DBZ characters on a pair of white Hi-top Vans. Can you name every character? Check'em out below!

Black Mamba Pack Unveiled

As Kobe's last season comes to an end Nike looks to pay tribute to the great Black Mamba, as well as 13yrs of innovation with the "Black Mamba Pack." With 13 releases lined up the BM Pack will release different Nike models associated with Kobe Bryant. The pack has a fade to black theme with the first release being an all white Nike Haurache 2k4, and the last being a black Kobe 11 which will release April 13, the day of Kobe's last game. Do You Got Sole?

Starting late 2012/early 2013 the Long Beach based online sneaker consignment shop I Got Sole is the place to take your sneakers if you're trying to get rid of them or get them sold. Over the past few years the sneaker culture has become very popular in adolescent/young adult lives, and lots of people have tried to capitalize off of it by becoming the supplier. In our city we have stores like Proper, and Private where you can cop the latest kicks, but other than that your only chances are retail (unlikely),  or the local sneaker seller on block. Well Poly grad, and current LBCC student Rueben Strickland decided to add his name to that list, and has slowly, but surely gained notoriety within the city. After gaining a slight buzz from a Yeezy Roshe Run collab giveaway with local  Elwood Espiritu, and their first Beach Got Sole event with SneakerworldLA, and the well known sneaker collector Janelle Morgan I Got Sole was definitely on a roll. 2014-2015 the business slowly hit the back burner for Strickland until he decided to find help. After searching high, and low for someone to take over the duties of the business he finally found a young man by the name of Jesse Keen to handle the IG page while he handled curating events, and promotion for the business as well as other endeavors (this website lol). Since the partnership has begun Keen has done an amazing job handling the page, and making sales, and Strickland is very grateful for what he is doing. After yesterdays 2nd Annual Beach Got Sole Expo the page is looking to wind down, and stock up on inventory to provide the public. Both parties involved with I Got Sole are working hard to get their stop up both on their own, and from people who need help selling their shoes. So if you have some retro J's in the closet sitting around, or a sick Nike/Adidas collection you're trying to get rid of hit them up!

If you are a Laker fan who grew up in the Kobe era you are super excited about this Kobe 11 colorway. A soon to release Kobe 11 dubbed the 8-24's will feature a purple, and black upper with a white swoosh, and the number 8 and 24 along with what looks like the number of NBA Championships, and Finals MVPs the legendary Shooting Guard has won! Get Proper With Proper LBC

Since about 2003 Proper has been one of few staples in the Long Beach sneaker, and streetwear community. With their focal point being sneakers, and they have found a way to incorporate big name clothing brands in their store, and keep the public coming back to their store. Any business that can prosper for 13yrs in counting is certainly doing something right. We spoke to a representative of the store who couldn't really give us any future plans for the store, but she says her boss is content with where the store is now. Hey! i

2nd Installment of the Just Don Jordan 2 is Here

After the success of the 1st Just Don release it's obvious that a 2nd colorway would soon follow. The "Beach" Just Don 2 will hit retailers on the 30th, and you can expect another frenzy this time around. The upper consists of the quilted leather that Don C loves so much, and comes in a sandy brown colorway hence the name "Beach". Jordan Brand Unveils the Jordan XXX

Pictures of the next Jordan model to release surfaced all over Twitter, and Instagram this morning. The Jordan XXX follows the same path as the 29's being more of a on court performance sneaker rather than the casual every day shoe the public so desires. Personally we think this model is clean, and the intricate details like the globe on the tongue, and Jumpman on the toebox add to how dope this shoe is. The latest Jordan model will hit retailers February 12th check them out for yourself below!

Kendrick Lamars Next Reebok Collab

K-Dot is hitting us with another Reebok collab using a different model to convey the same message. The Reebok Classic Leather x Kendrick Lamar will be releasing in a couple days and they feature a lot of the same elements of his first Reebok collab reiterating his message of trying to get the gangs of LA to unite again as they once were back in the day. Retailing at just $89 this sneaker is definitely worth every penny! Check'em out below.

First Kobe 11 Colorway Releasing Tomorrow

Bad news this is Kobe's last year in the NBA, good news Kobe's highly anticipated 11th Nike shoe will be hitting retailers tomorrow! The first colorway of the Kobe 11 dubbed the "Achilles Heel" sports a red, and black flyknit upper with Kobe's insignia loud and proud on the tongue,  and a translucent sole. Unfortunately this will be Kobe's last on-court sneaker to release, but that means Nike will definitely have something special in-store with this model!
