A Force to be Reckoned With

Randall Goforth is another Poly bred athlete who hit the ground running when he got to college. Goforth was picked up by UCLA after a stellar Junior and Senior season with the Jackrabbits raking in a total of 406 receiving yards, and 3 touchdowns on 26 catches in both years combined, as well as 79 tackles, 4 interceptions, and a forced fumble. In his first year as a Bruin Goforth let it be known he could hold his own, and some at the college level seeing the field in 14 games, 5 of which he started in. He ending the season with 40 tackles, and 1 interception, he also recorded 9 tackles in his first career start against Nebraska, got his first career INT against Houston, and recorded 6 tackles in the Holiday Bowl! His next season Goforth earned his way into a starting role in which he flourished even more recording the 4th most tackles on the team (78), 2nd most INT's (3), and tied for 6th in the pac-12 in forced fumbles (0.23). To add on to his monster Sophmore season Goforth made 19 of his 78 tackles against Stanford, which was the most stops by a Bruin since 2007! It seemed that 5'10 190lb defensive back would continue to grow as he entered his junior year he appeared in 2 games recording 5 tackles, and a 75yd TD off of a fumble recovery. Sadly his Junior season was cut short due to injury, but that won't stop Goforth from coming back and being a force to be reckoned with next year
