Just Getting Her Feet Wet

Cori Reynolds began her water polo career in her sophomore year in high school at Long Beach Poly where she was on varsity all 3 years, and was 2nd team all league her very first year playing. Her junior year Reynolds was named 1st team all league, and lead the Moore League in steals! In her senior season she also made 1st team all league, and lead the league in steals as well as the SoCal Dream Team, and broke the Moore League record for steals recording 147 steals! After high school she went on to play at Long Beach State for a year, but ran into injury when Reynolds dislocated her shoulder in her sophomore season resulting in reconstructive surgery. After a year of healing she got back in the water playing as a Viking at LBCC for a year in which she lead her conference in assists, and they won their conference for the first time in five years! Talk about a list of accomplishments.Unfortunately Reynolds will not be continuing her water polo career instead she will graduate with her BA from Long Beach State in May and go on to nursing school. Congratulations to her, and we wish her the best as she goes on to nursing school!
