The Munzon Maniacs Marathon Continues

The Golden Eagles look to build on last seasons 10-16 season with Jr. guard and yet another Long Beach Poly graduate Joshua Munzon looks to become a focal point in the Golden Eagles offense. In his first season at CSULA Munzon  had a great year averaging 9.1ppg, and 4.2rebs, and knocking down 33 shots from downtown on the season. Munzon was one of the teams top defenders, and stepped up tremendously in a few games scoring 19pts in the season opener vs La Sierra, 16pts in a road win against UC San Diego, had a season high 20pts in a win over Cal State Monterey Bay, and had a season high 9rebs to go with 15pts against Cal State Stanislaus. In his sophmore year Munzon's consistent play continued throughout the season he even scored a career high 24pts to lead the Golden Eagles to a 61-46 victory over CSUDH, and made 2 clutch freethrows after a late game steal to get his team the win against  Sonoma State. The Munzon Maniac looks to add another chapter to his legacy at CSULA, one that maybe consists of a playoff run, or even a division title. With an increase in confidence this season Munzon could have a breakout year, and lead this CSULA team to do great things! Check out their season opening exibition match against UCLA October 30th, and watch the Munzon Maniac take on his Jr. season with a full head of steam!
