Making It Look Easy

Me personally I hated football, but when you got a frame, skill set, and heart like this kid the game is no biggie. Here we have yet another Long Beach Poly alum, and current USC athlete Iman Marshall other wise known as "Biggie" who is another Poly athlete who's long list of accomplishments, and accolades are just too many to name in one sitting. 2014 USA Today All American, Cal-Hi Sports All-State Defensive MVP, Los Angeles Times All-Area, and Long Beach Press Telegram Defensive Player of the Year are just a few of the freshman phenoms honors from his senior year of high school. Marshalls stats from his senior year are indicative of his much deserved praise mentioned above. As a senior the safety/wide receiver dominated both sides of the field averaging 16.6 yards with a total of 315 yards on 19 receptions offensively, and 85 tackles, and 16 deflections on the season defensively. Being a complete duel threat on the field USC had no choice but to do all they could to get the star S/WR, and I'm sure their recruiting office has got some serious praise for pulling that off. The  freshman took no time getting use to the game at the college level, in fact he dove in head first, and hasn't looked back since. He currently has 24 tackles, and recorded his first collegiate interception against the University of Washington. As the Trojans continue their season they look to improve on their 3-3 record, and with all their young talent once the pieces connect, and things start to flow this USC team could really make noise in the Pac-12 division. Keep up with Marshall's freshman season at the link below, and watch USC regain their glory over the next few years as this team grows together!
