A Story To Tell The Kids

Chris Castellanos, current Stanford pitcher, and former 4-year varsity starter at Long Beach Poly had quite the high school career, and is looking to do the same in college. In his Junior year Chris was apart of the baseball team that won Moore League, but it was no typical Long Beach Poly Moore League Championship, in fact it was the first time they'd done it in 44 years! Making that something Chris really prides himself on, and will cherish forever. As well as win a championship after such a long drought the young pitcher also threw a perfect game against Wilson, was selected Moore League POTY both his Junior and Senior year, and recorded the most wins in Jackrabbit baseball history with 83! The 5'10 185lb gatekeeper of the mound is approaching his Junior season at Stanford where he is looking to add to his metaphorical sash of accolades, and push for a pick in the next MLB draft, and eventually we hope to see Chris get a start up on that MLB mound! Until that time comes keep track of him and his season at Stanford at the link below!
