A Duo of Epic Preportion Pt.1

As far as guard play goes Long Beach Poly has always had a great back court. From Alexis Moore , and Alex Carmon, Chris Croom and Joshua Munzon, to last years PG KJ Feagin, and SG Andrew Buggs Poly has never had trouble in the back court. This particular duo sticks out to me as one of the more cohesive duos of the 3. We're going to start off with the 1st half of the duo current freshman guard at UC Santa Clara is a small, but crafty guard with a crazy handle, amazing ball control, and astounding court vison. Combine that with  his ability to lead, and passion for the game you get the top tier point guard that is KJ Feagin. As a freshman at Poly Feagin played on the Varsity squad, something not too many guards at Poly can say they've done. Although he wasn't a huge factor his contribution was a very sufficient one, and he became acclimated to the speed and physicality of the game, preparing him for his time to step up to the plate, and take the reigns which he did without a problem. During his senior year at Poly Feagin averaged 12.8ppg, and 4.6asst leading the team to a 26-5 record, and the 9th slot of the State rankings. Feagin is working hard, and preparing for his debut season at SCU, and you can bet the freshman will be an astounding contribution to the guard spot, and eventually take the reigns in the years to come. Check out Feagin's senior highlight video while we wait for the freshman guards debut!
